Feedburner workaround
For those of you who have Feedburner feeds and would like a workaround here are some options;
Blogger blogs
1. In your Blogger settings click the Site Feed tab.
2. Remove anything that is within the Post Feed Redirect URL field. It should now be completely EMPTY.
3. Click Save Settings.
4. Go to the SimpliePie Demo page and in the blue field type your URL and then click Read.
5. If successful, it should display your posts.
6. You will notice that where you typed your URL it has now changed to another URL. Copy this.
7. Now go to your Plot in Blotanical.
8. Click the myBlogs tab.
9. Click the Edit button under your blog details.
10. In the Blog Feed field paste the URL that you copied at Step 6.
11. Click Update.
12. Take two Panadol, wait for an hour and then write your next post. They should begin showing up again.
Non-Blogger blogs
1. Go to your blog and in your browser's menu bar click View > Page Source.
2. Towards the top of your page you should see a meta tag that looks like this - .
3. Copy the link within the href tag.
4. Go to the SimpliePie Demo page and in the blue field paste the link you copied in step 3 and then click Read.
5. If successful, it should display your posts.
6. You will notice that where you typed your URL it may have changed to another URL. Copy this or retain the link that you copied in Step 3.
Let me know if this still doesn't work for you.

Stuart, I love you. I feel as if I've been allowed to return from exile. Not only is the post showing, it's in the no.2 spot. Given that my posts always used to come up on the second page, that's pretty good going. Whatever you've done - don't change it.
And all despite the fact that I didn't follow all the instructions. I skipped the Panadol ...

I am pleased to say that in my case after several weeks of being AWOL and no blog posts showing, my blogs seem to be appearing again! YAY!
Many thanks for sorting this out.

Nope. Doesn't work. The note on my plot says PICTURES JUST PICTURES needs to burn a Feedburner Feed. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Still not working for me. Simple Pie Demo says - cURL error 28: connect() timed out!
Posted by: easygardener | September 29, 2008 6:23 PM
@easygardener - that's correct, because at the moment it is defaulting to your feedburner feed. I tried searching your blog for another feed url but with no success. Are you able to forward me the link that you typed into the Original Feed field in your Edit Feed Settings within Feedburner. This should give an alternative that will work.

@easygardener - ignore that, I just found it and have updated your feed details. Your posts should start showing again shortly. Give it 24 hours and another published post before commenting again.

Stuart
Thanks for adjusting the feed. My posts are showing up now.
Although the latest one has been picked it isn't showing in My Posts - perhaps there is a time delay so I'll wait and see.

@easygardener - My Posts won't be working for some time, especially in picking up your older posts - this is a big job for another day.
