1000+ Blogs
I've just added our 1000th blog today (well...technically we reached that a while ago as I've since removed a few...but who's counting!). It's a very exciting occasion for two reasons - 1). It proves that there are more than 1000 garden bloggers who are sharing great posts, photos, poems and virtual "cups of tea" all over this great planet, and 2). that Blotanical is finally growing up.
I remember stumbling around trying to find garden blogs in the early days of my blogging hobby and thought that they must have been rarer than hens teeth. Yet, since Blotanical started it's been an easy way to find others who share the same passion for the soil and the keyboard.
Thank you all for helping Blotanical achieve this awesome milestone. And to the critics who claimed Blotanical wouldn't survive, we're just about to pass our 2.5 millionth pageview sometime next month - not too shabby for a little startup.
UPDATES
For those who have been begging for a complete list of people who have faved their blogs rather than just the most recent 10, your wishes have been answered. The updated list (shown in your Plot sidebar) will naturally show the most recent but you can now click back through the list to find those who have Faved your blog over your time here.
I'm now working on one for those who have Faved you as members, so stay tuned...

Congratulations and thank you for all of your hard work to make this such a wonderful resource for all of us here on blotanical. Personally, we have found blotanical to be a great place to meet those of like mind and to learn more about our favorite topic (next to the Shibaboyz, of course!), gardening!

Congratulations Stuart, you must feel really pleased to have created a successful worldwide community. I can imagine at times it must get frustrating and sometimes you must wonder why you do it. The small minority of critics just show how successful you.
A special thank you from me for allowing members without blogs to join, it is a great way to find garden blogs.
I hope Blotanical continues to give you a lot of satisfaction and pleasure.

This really is very impressive. (I expect the 1000th person feels pretty proud too!)
It took me quite a while to realise how new Blotanical is. Even as it develops, it already feels established.
Meeting people through Blotanical has changed my thoughts about the world. As well as being botanically interesting, I find it geographically and, to some degree, politically enlighteningand I'm very glad to be part of it.
