Well...that was fun, wasn't it?
My humble apologies to you all for putting you through the wringer over the past couple of days. Unfortunately, the timing couldn't have been worse with work pressure being just stupid at the moment so I was trying to catch an hour here and an hour there to fix the issues.
On the bright side, the systems that are now running Blotanical are far more superior to what we've had in the past. Some of the delays that were experienced are less likely to rear their head and there is heaps more scope to offer some better features.
For those who have lost some data over the migration I have tried to bring back as much as I can and Picks and your Plot messages should now be right. If there was something else that you're missing then you better let me know asap before we shut down the old server for good. NB: if you're missing the odd message or two then unless there are many others in the same predicament, you may have to accept that it won't be coming back. My apologies for this but the retrieval process is far too time consuming.
My focus now will be on (after getting some sleep) repairing the Picks so that your My Posts page doesn't display other people's blog posts. The reason for this has been discussed before but I can understand the annoyance factor and I'm keen to find a solution.
Thanks to those who followed me via Twitter and you can still subscribe to my Tweets at http://twitter.com/bussogardener. This is my preferred option for informing Blotanists should the site completely fail and I don't have access to this blog.
Also, a big thank you for the lovely well-wishes and numerous emails - you are a wonderful group of people. I shall reply as soon as I've had some sleep. Ta :-)

Stuart, well done and thank you for all your hard work, it is appreciated. Please do get some sleep and some time with your family. Twitter is good for keeping track of Blotanical - I joined for just that reason. There is no need to reply to any of my emails. Best wishes Sylvia (England)
