I have a small fountain that holds planters on either side. I love to hear the water when I am sitting outside in the evenings. If I had the room I would have a nice pond, but it is not doable.

I have four birdbaths and 2 functional fountains in my garden at the moment. I also have a fountain that needs some work and then I will find a home for it too.

I added a waterfall to my front flowerbed last summer. I wrote a blog post at The Variegated Thumb about it. I've noticed more birds around because of it and it's a wonderful feature that everyone notices as they approach my house.

So far I have only several birdbaths but I am planing to make a pond. As it is an demanding task, both financially and practically, it will take some time to build it.
